Newborns do not need to be bathed with soap nor do you need to bathe them daily. But once you are ready to give them a bath with bubbles then baby soap or body wash for babies is necessary. These are specially formulated to be mild and suitable for a baby's sensitive skin. Some are even scent free to ensure they are hypoallergenic.
