CoQ10 or Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally present substance in the body and is sold as a dietary supplement mostly for heart related conditions. Per the NCCIH (as of January 2019): Although results of individual studies have varied, the overall scientific evidence does not support the idea that CoQ10 can reduce muscle pain caused by the cholesterol-lowering drugs known as statins.
