Cranberries are more commonly eaten or found in products like juices, jams or sauces. As dietary supplements, they are mainly promoted for UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) but as per NCCIH (as of May 2020) there is limited evidence that cranberries decrease the risk of contracting a UTI especially among people that have recurring UTI but it has not been shown to be an effective treatment for an existing UTI.
